Springfield’s Only No-Kill Shelter
Founded in 1996, Pets To Go is a non-profit animal shelter located at 3183 S Veterans Pkwy, Springfield, Illinois. We have placed an estimated 18,000 homeless cats and dogs into loving homes.
40% of our animals are owner surrenders and 60% are rescued from high-kill shelters. We rely on United Way, private donations, and our amazing 200+ volunteers to keep our doors open.
We have a dedicated staff of 15 and give every animal the love and attention they deserve — often more than they’ve ever known!
